WHY JOIN?
The CCEA is a locally-run union, composed entirely of CCPS employees.  When issues arise, you have someone nearby to help and answer questions, or provide support if needed.  We also have access to Mountain View UniServ, a branch of the VEA to representation with legal and non-legal situations.
Additionally, with benefits of being a vital part of the educational community with a voice in the future of education in Culpeper, our union is a powerful voice in Richmond and around the state.  We advocate for better salaries, improved working conditions, and increased funding to provide quality schools for ALL Virginia students, regardless of their zip code.
You also gain representation and legal assistance when issues may arise as well as access to protective insurance.
There is also a wide array of financial discounts and benefits​
Many members find that with the discounts that they can get as Association members, they save the full cost of their dues!
